Quilt Prep

When preparing your quilt to be quilted please do the following – or you may be charged extra for squaring your top, sewing seams together, etc.

Make sure the top is square. If the backing has been pieced make sure the edges are even, and it is square as well.

If there are some puckers in the top itself these may be able to be quilted out, but some things just can’t be compensated for. This is normal, and upon washing you may not even notice those any more.

The back piece must be at least 3 inches bigger than the top in every direction. If you are supplying batting that must be at least 3 inches bigger in every direction as well. If the top is directional please mark the top of the quilt top and/or the backing.

I have a 48 hour decision period. If you are not satisfied with your quilt when you receive it, you will have 48 hours to contact me, and I will work with you to make it right.
